A French mobster decides to kill Chief Inspector Jacques Clouseau (Sellers). Former Chief Inspector, Charles Dreyfus (Herbert Lom), feels soo! much better and is (again!) released from the mental hospital. Clouseau goes under cover with Cato (Burt Kwouk) to find out who his would-be assasins are.
